Great service, the staff is so helpful and kind. First restaurant I’ve ever been to that gave me a purse chair which is so thoughtful! The atmosphere is very cool and calming with lots of interesting decor to look at which makes for great conversation starters. As for food and drink, I got the haven cocktail which was great! The short rib was AMAZING; best I have had in a long time and cleaned my plate The mashed potatoes are to die for!! My partner got the butchers cut which was a NY strip which he enjoyed as well. This was my first experience here and I will be back! 10/10 would recommend!

We enjoyed the three faces of gin event, Gin with Jen and absolutely loved it. When you walk into Leon & Lulu it’s like stepping into a magical place with a beautiful finished bar at the entrance and it only gets more fun as you walk further into Three Cats. The interior features an awesome gallery of art pieces decorated throughout the building and it really feels like you’re dining in the middle of something exciting. Our food was phenomenal, fish was cooked perfectly, green beans were crispy, salad was generous. The dessert was delicious. The gin tasting event was absolutely lovely. Jen did a wonderful job keeping us engaged and walking us through 6 types of tasty gins we enjoyed sampling. Highly recommend this spot for a unique night out and the event’s are a great experience
This quirky and totally unique dining spot is also a perfect spot for wedding couples looking for something totally different and outside the box as a wedding venue for smaller weddings. The staff was attentive and accommodating, the food was great (they made a vegan dish for me!) and the atmosphere provides different backgrounds everywhere you look.
Had reservation right at 10am for brunch. Accommodating with our party, great space. Don’t leave without a greeting card! French toast was and thick cut bacon was delish. Super cute gem, loved all the plants growing outside.
[UPDATED REVIEW] While my initial visit had some regrettable service issues, I feel it is only fair to update my rating based on the subsequent actions of the establishment's management. The owner reached out personally to apologize, recognized the specific errors that occurred during my service, and has generously offered to make things right. This level of dedication to customer satisfaction is truly commendable. Given this proactive management response, the numerous other fantastic experiences reported by friends/patrons, and the restaurant's truly stunning ambiance, I believe my original low rating was disproportionate. It’s clear they take pride in their service and atmosphere. I am very much looking forward to a better experience on my return visit. A Tale of Two Experiences: Excellent Event, Unprofessional Checkout Our evening began on a high note, a truly lovely wine tasting event in a beautiful setting. The quality of the food and the general ambiance made the early hours enjoyable. Unfortunately, the entire experience was severely undermined by the chaotic and frankly unprofessional handling of the checkout process. Once the event was over, the staff appeared instantly overwhelmed. What should have been a quick and smooth departure turned into a tedious ordeal that required an unacceptable hour just to settle our bills. The frustration was severely compounded by the billing itself, which revealed two business practices that are simply unacceptable for an establishment aiming for an upscale reputation. While an automatic gratuity that we were unaware was going to be billed was fine, we were shocked to see the gratuity was also applied to bottles of wine that were purchased from the event. Retail sales—a simple transaction for an unopened bottle—does not warrant a gratuity. Gratuity is meant to reward service, not a simple sale, and its application here felt like an unwarranted financial grab. The second issue was the fee for paying with a credit card. I understand that processing fees exist, but at a restaurant that features menu items like $40 steaks, such a charge comes across as incredibly cheap and tacky. True upscale dining integrates these minor business costs into the price of the menu items. Passing the charge directly to the customer at the end of the meal, particularly given the already high price point of the food, feels like a calculated money grab that cheapens the entire experience. In summary, it’s a shame that a restaurant with the potential to offer a truly premium experience allows its service to collapse and its reputation to be damaged by frustrating and unprofessional billing policies. The quality of the initial event simply cannot outweigh the disappointment of the final hour.
My daughter and I had a great Mother's Day at a hidden gem, Three Cats (at Leon & Lulu). We were in the area and my daughter was fortunately able to make a reservation at the last minute. When we arrived, we were delighted to see that the restaurant was in a vintage theater. The interior pleased all of our senses and the service was topnotch. We were immediately seated and as an avid roller skater. I really appreciated an actual roller skate as the table centerpiece. We were then greeted by the owner, Mary, who was quite personable and gave us the history of her restaurant as well as Leon & Lulu. Our waitress, Allison, was great too. I ordered the Mushroom Quiche accompanied by a fresh salad and my daughter had the French Toast with fresh fruit. We also ordered a side of bacon and of course we had to have mimosas. Everything was delicious!!!! After our delectable meal we sauntered over to Leon and Lulu and let me just say that I could have shopped there all day. They had everything from housewares to clothing. Their renovation of a former roller skating rink is exceptional. The nostalgic experience, accompanied by great food, service and good vibes has made Three Cats (at Leon & Lulu) one of my favorite spots. Thanks for an awesome and memorable Mother's Day and we'll definitely be back to create more memories!
I really love this restaurant. It's one of my favorite places to go in downtown Clawson. It's nice but not overpriced. The inside is very cool and definitely decorated well. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The pace is always perfect. I have suggested this place to many people. Great options for food and the drink menu changes seasonally. If you're looking for a relaxing and nice dinner that won't break the bank this is the perfect place.
This was single handedly the best experience I have ever had dining. We stumbled in on a whim. We started with the carrots and a soup flight, enjoyed their prime rib special, and finished with the brulee. Each dish was better than the last. The service was superb and the price for what you receive is amazing. If I had any complaint it would be that I can no longer enjoy my favorite dessert because nothing can ever live up to the butterscotch brulee.
